At KVFCU, We Encourage Kids to Set Up Savings Accounts and Learn How to Manage Money

We hope that parents will help to encourage younger members by showing them how they can benefit from visiting KV and saving for future needs. For information on our Youth Accounts, please give us a call at (207) 623-5171 or stop by one of our convenient locations.

Sweet Pea

New born thru 4 years of age.

  • Must have a parent, guardian or adult relative joint on the account

  • Must have Birth Certificate and/or Social Security card for child

Monty Moose

Five thru twelve years of age.

  • Must have a parent, guardian or adult relative joint on the account

  • Must have Birth Certificate and/or Social Security card for child

Teen

Thirteen thru seventeen years of age.

  • Teen must be present with school ID or state ID

  • Teen is eligible to apply for Visa debit with parent or guardian as joint & co-signer and sign Teen agreement.

  • Eligible to apply for Credit card ($500.00 maximum credit line) with parent or guardian as joint & co-signer

Grad Club

Eighteen thru twenty-four years of age.

  • Must be present with school ID or state ID

  • Eligible to apply for VISA credit or check card with parent or guardian as co-signer (Maximum Credit line for Visa Credit of $1500.00)

  • First Box of checks is FREE
